Kids ClassesYoga for children is amazing for all the same reasons as for everybody else. It improves fitness, flexibility, strength and overall wellbeing. Furthermore a balanced yoga practice will encourage concentration and mindfullness. It reduces stress and anxiety. Children feel the same emotions as adults but may find that they're less equipped to deal with more intense emotions like anger. Yoga can be a fantastic tool in calming the nervous system and managing stress. It has the power to increase confidence and self esteem. The greatest reason I can think of for children, or anyone, to practise yoga is the main reason I practise: it's fun and makes us feel truly alive in the moment!
